Happy St. Patty's Day!

Earlier this week I had a Plant a Flower playdate, but didn't get any pictures. :( I did it a couple years ago, but was so sick last year and had some scheduling difficulties so I can't call it an annual event, but I am going to try and make it an annual thing from this point on.

Today I packed a picnic and headed to a local park that is on the water for a picnic and play with my kiddos. After a picnic and playing on the castle themed playground, we walked down the pier to look for mermaids. We didn't spot any, but we did see a bunch of bees hard at work in some clover patches which was a really cool teachable moment. I've been telling Rosemary about how bees make honey- she's really into bees right now so it was really cool to show her how they fly from flower to flower. As we were leaving Rosemary stopped to blow a wish on a dandelion. It was a gorgeous day out! I love spring! I wish it lasted all year!

    completely forgot it was St. Patty's day until after we were dressed and out the door...no green for us this year :)

    We're actually watching Bee Movie right now, which Carter totally digs. He already understands what bees are and can identify them in our clover patch, too cute!
